Hi! I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Human Development and Family Studies program at the University of Houston and the Assistant Chair for Student Success in the Dept. of Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences. I serve as Faculty-in-Residence for Cougar Village 1, a freshman dorm at UH. I have earned a master's in Human Development and Family Studies and a Ph.D. in Psychology (both from the University of Alabama). I teach primarily undergraduates, and I love my Careers in Human Development and Family Studies course. I am passionate about career options for students who wish to serve families and communities, so for fun I maintain the HDFS Careers blog.
